Perdaus is a Muslim organisation dedicated to community development through human capital development programmes.
Perdaus core programmes revolve around equipping the community with critical knowledge and skills that will shape the development of a virtuous and progressive society.
Perdaus strives to share the message of Islam with the society at large by engaging with more non-Muslims thereby improving understanding and communication in the global society.
Our vision is “Towards a Righteous Society” – in Malay, we translate it as “Menuju ke arah masyarakat yang soleh”.
Our mission: to inspire consciousness (taqwa), nurture lives, empower families and build communities – we hope to achieve these through our educational and leadership programmes.
Our programmes/activities
*Iyad Perdaus Child Development*
We provide infant care, childcare and student care under our Iyad Perdaus Child Development banner, since 1993. Our three centres are located at Jurong East, Choa Chu Kang and Hougang.
We are also the pioneer childcare under an MMO that is equipped with Integrated Child Care Programme (ICCP) to include children with mild special needs, and to provide Development Support Programmes (DSP) for children with mild developmental or learning needs – appointed by then-MCCY and MSF. We believe that this inclusive setting will help foster compassion and kindness for our children,
*For Developing Confident Young Muslims – Madrasah Perdaus and Youth*
Our weekend Islamic education programme caters to primary, secondary and youth students. Our approach is to help our children learn Islam in an experiential way, for a deeper appreciation of the Deen. This will inspire them to become future leaders who will contribute back to the community, in sha Allah.
Mature participants may continue their spiritual pursuits through our various programmes. Our Kelas Agama Dewasa (KAD) modules and Qur’anic express workshops are well received, and our Qur’anic exegesis series by Ustaz Dr Muhd Haniff Hassan is well regarded.
